Our story
Built by longtime friends and colleagues, we are a neighborhood restaurant in Greenpoint shaped by a love of modern Parisian bistros, shared meals, and the little things. Led by Chef Kevin Finch, the menu is rooted in the seasons with a focus on ingredients from the Northeast. The beverage program from Charlotte Mirzoeff focuses on small producers, wines with a sense of place, and a backbar that is a little quirky and always intentional.
Our team
We are a restaurant built by people who care deeply about what they do and the people they do it with.
Kevin Finch
Chef
Kevin Finch is a globally acclaimed chef with a deep reverence for place and seasonality. His Michelin-starred résumé spans New York, Bangkok, Shenzhen, San Francisco, and beyond, yet his work remains grounded in discipline, curiosity, and intention. At Arthur, Finch’s first restaurant, he aims to create a space where precise technique, thoughtful sourcing, and a strong sense of place are at the forefront of everything he does. Here, he brings a global culinary perspective shaped by both memory and exploration, from the burst of a summer tomato in his aunt’s garden to the unfamiliar ingredients he encountered in kitchens around the world—honoring tradition while embracing constant evolution.
Alexa Finch
Co-Owner
With a decades-long career in global brand marketing and hospitality—including roles at Michelin-starred gastropub The Breslin and James Beard–nominated Water Witch—Alexa “Lex” is the strategic and creative force behind Arthur. From operations and systems to brand, partnerships, playlists, and overall atmosphere, she shapes all parts of the Arthur experience beyond the plate. Guided by the belief that restaurants should be more than places to dine, Lex focuses on fostering connection, honoring farmers and winemakers, and building something enduring for the community. That perspective—grounded in care for people and long-term sustainability—informs every decision she makes.
Charlotte Mirzoeff
General Manager and Beverage Director
Charlotte Mirzoeff’s path to hospitality wasn’t straightforward. Trading a path toward a Ph.D. in developmental psychology for the energy of New York City’s restaurant scene, she worked her way through the ranks, beginning at Union Square Hospitality Group’s Maialino, followed by stints at Marta, The Beekman Hotel, and Forsythia, where she served as General Manager and Beverage Director. At Arthur, Charlotte brings a deep passion for hospitality and wine to her role. She views food and wine as endlessly layered—equal parts geology, history, science, and story—and believes there is always more to learn. That curiosity, paired with a strong commitment to the power of thoughtful hospitality, shapes everything she does.
Our community
Our cuisine is guided by a deep respect for ingredients and the people behind them. We’re proud and thankful to partner with people in our community and beyond.
